Our History
Sean Davies, founder of Sean Davies Motorcycles, joined Redline Honda as an apprentice when he left school at the age of 16. Commuting each day from Colchester to Walthamstow, he both trained as a bike mechanic and attained many qualifications, including his NVQ Level 3 in Bike Mechanics and various other qualifications from the Honda UK Institute.
After 9 years, Redline Honda was dissolved, and Sean set out to bring his skills back to his home town of Colchester.
Sean Davies Motorcycles is born
March 2005 saw the birth of Sean Davies Motorcycles, which was based at Wyvern farm in Stanway, Colchester. The business experienced quick growth, and soon Sean found himself taking on an apprentice. Due to the speed at which the business was growing, Sean Davies Motorcycles moved to new premises at Gosbecks Business Park. The business is enjoying steady growth year-on-year and a large, loyal customer base.
